The goal of SIS is to develop software tools, demo data, and user guide resources that enable users to be up-and-running within 30 minutes. SIS sample data sets and documentation speed the process of becoming productive with our software. Detailed instructions in User's Guide documents may be downloaded from the SIS web site and accessed from the Help menu. SIS provides caller support, on-line support for user guides, training resources and videos, a bulletin board forum for sharing tips and information, and a gallery of customer-provided materials. Sample data sets are typically too large to be downloaded. Customers are encouraged to contact SIS and request sample data to be sent on appropriate media.
For each SIS application, SIS has compiled sample data sets that are available to customers. These sample data sets are used by SIS to distribute to customers for training and also are used as the primary data sets for compiling user guides and training materials. These data sets tend to be large and must be organized for easy use and distribution. SIS also distributes 'ready to load' project files for applications whereby, if users have installed sample data in the proper locations and set up their tools according to instructions, these projects will open up withing the applications without effort or fuss allowing immediate access to working examples of SIS technologies. Sample data sets are available for the following tools:
