We have had some great input from users suggesting updates. These have been very relevant to our development helping us understand new benefits [features] that will make AAV2 more useful and add value for our users. Most of these we have made requirements for an incremental release that we are preparing. An early version of this release will be made available (late June or early July, 2010) to Accuracy Analyst customers that are in our 'Early Access' list. Some of the features in the update include the following:
Survey Planner -
Allow addition of point, line, and poly layers.
Enable image planning footprint polys with semi-transparent fill for planning survey point collection in overlapping areas for side and onlap areas.
General Option -
Provide options for point, line, poly color, symbol, transparency.
Provide options for reasons for point exclusion and for reviewer and QA markup.
Save configuration options (including review comments, etc) for use in options files that may be loaded and used as needed.
ReViewer -
Enable addition of point, line, and poly layers.
Enable addition of review points for QA.
Allow review 'selection lists' to be edited in the options list to add or modify standard comments.
Provide a checklist for "data consistency" ensure existence, size, tags, and other QA items and include pages in the report that summarize / detail results.
These are a few of the general suggestions that are being included in the incremental release.
Your suggestions are highly encouraged. All of our enhancements are coming from the user community so your voice matters. Please let us know what we can do to make AAV2 more valuable to you!
Thanks - Chuck
